Nah he can defend and more tackles/interceptions than anyone.

On that goal he tries to cover the low ball in early from wide thst has been causing havoc from teams when get away but it then leaves space on edge of box.

Keeper should save it but the whole set up wasn't working and Flick abandoned it rightfully so in 2nd half.

Levels a better defender than likes of Casado or Gavi on those areas.
