We need him fit and in good form. I don't care if he only scores tap ins. As if Ferran scores some spectacular goals. Even this season before injury he scored some very important goals in the league

imagine we would have signed him 2014 for free instead of suarez. This would have been incredible even though Suárez was his equal in his prime, that only lasted 3 years at Barca.

Shame he can't run and others have to press for him.
Or assist. 2 assists entire last season. Who does he make better?
He scored several goals that decided games and directly won points for Barca last season. Nearly scored against every big team last season.

Barca didn't buy him for pressing. There are numerous cheap young strikers in the market for pressing. Goalscoring ability is very rare in the market.

Does benefit a lot from the attacking system, other players pressing and providing him with assists.
Every attacker in history benefits from a good attacking system.

The thing is even in Xavi's system he was getting great numbers.

Everything I said is true.

He's a washed up veteran who doesn't run and is relevant only because the system benefits him heavily.

Other players lose their lungs to recycle possession and then provide assists to immobile target - Lewandowski.

Lewandowski does not press and does not assist.

Ferran Torres has better stats per minutes than him. And that's without his big contribution to team press.

What's to expect from a 45 year old Lewandowski. He will leave at the end of the season and not sure Flick even sees him as a starter in biggest games anymore. He has declined and is declining rapidly and we just have to accept that him and Ferran will rotate this season, with the player who stinks up the place the most to be benched, or even both if Rashford can adapt to CF.
