Yeah, he was a beast. You appreciate the video above that shows him actually defending and engaging duels. Today's full-backs are more valued by their offensive output and they defend mostly in a system. I can't stand it watching a full-back with 2 meter safety distance to the winger, not engaging because they fear to lose the duel, arms behind the back and try force a long cross out of him and shift the responsibility to the CBs and GK.He was the most feared player by his peers on the right wing. And my childhood memories are him being this giant of LB.
