If there is no collective press, then every team in CL is losing vs PSG. that's a fact. Only Liverpool got close last season and their press ability is only second to this PSG's.

That's why Chelsea succeeded Vs PSG. They had legs to press them and they won it in the first half (CWC). That's exactly how we should have played, but we were not even close to Chelsea fitness level to do that.

That's what makes me worried about the Chelsea game.

I've been saying it before, but PSG was the best team but Barca had the best individuals. Yamal and Raphinha both deserved it over Dembele.

But in the end Bdor is about trophies.

That's exactly my point, they (as a team) are much stronger than all others right now. Heck their B team alone is probably better than most of Europe's clubs.

Call it offensive player bias. Hakimi was fucking awesome whenever I saw him play under Enrique.

Goes both ways though. Yamal finished above Hakimi also because offensive players get the headlines in team sports.

For sure. On current squad, with our style, to beat PSG we'd need some kind of keeper heroics and a great game in terms of pretty much everything. Workrate, finishing, not making any stupid errors.

But it's fine. Top 4-5 is pretty damn great for our position atm.

PSG are not going to blitz through this CL the way some think.

They will have far tougher games than tonight.

Barca were terrible and weak in areas that cant cope.

There wont be a pair of full backs as poor as that that PSG face again from a top team.

The difference is Hakimi and Mendes will be tracked. They will not be left to run and break lines unbothered.

Not that some magical fullbacks will take Mendes and Barcola and dominate them with super defensive displays.

While other teams will have far better players playing out from back than Kounde and Gerard and better 1v1 defenders.

Last night's Atletico would have beaten them tonight imo.

It's not about playing from the back only. Flick also got tactically beaten today.

PSG didn't play a particularly great game either. Match was overall worse than the poster promo.
