Is there some beef between Lucho and Xavi? Has taken few jabs before.

It's just Lucho's humour. Xavi gets it, I'm sure there is no bad blood.

Enrique: "The only thing I want to say is that I have loved this team led by Flick from the beginning, because he brought back the footballing idea that characterizes Barcelona. It is a team I love watching. You know that I am a Socio (club member), I am a fan and I follow all of Barcelona's matches, and it is a team I love watching because it entertains me a lot." #believe

Come home Mister!

Lucho is straight no-nonsense. He always maintained that he'd like to come back in the future, and I'd be surprised if he didn't take over from Hansi in a few years.

I still haven't figured out what Pep's issue is on the other hand. He has always declined the idea of ever coming back to Barca as if he's holding a grudge against the club. Not even a "you never know what the future holds", just straight "it's over forever".

It's coz both LE and Pep are anal, but in different ways.

Pep knows he can't stand the Barca heat. City is about the most chill environment of any 'big' club in Europe. Pep can do what he wants there and there will never be strong criticism. I mean he flopped in the UCL massively in his first few seasons losing Vs scrubs like Monaco, Lyon and Spurs and nobody said nothing to him.

Lucho is the opposite. He sees heat and he wants a piece of it ! I mean how else can you describe a man who went from Madrid to Barca and put his AntiMadridista feeling on full display. And he does so to this day.

Lucho comes across as one of the most strong minded people in the game. You only need to see how he dealt with his own awful personal tragedy. How can you not respect a man like that?

But Pep has the better footballing mind.

A while ago I posted concerns about how we defend and said I had concerns about the similarities in every single chance we concede being formulaic. I'm not saying that nothing will change but that last PSG goal is emblematic of the same things I said lol. A good analyst on twitter put it simply lol. I had concerns and people on this forum insinuated I was overreacting. These margins matter against good teams.

Better team won. But in the right moment, as it doesn't have very terrible consequences for us at the moment.

1. They were better. They are a well oiled machine. It's down to coach, despite missing players. What Lucho built is impressive (well, he has unlimited money, but still...).
2. We never faced a team that plays like this before for 90 minutes. Learn from the experience and improve.
3. I feel like we need to build stamina. We basically died after 70th minute or so.
4. Lewa has no business in games like this.
5. Martin has no business in games like this.
6. Olmo has been shite for months.

I liked what Hansi achieved with subbing Martin and Rashford, since they were shitting on our entire left flank the whole game. But our stamina just didn't hold up.

Take this one on the chin, learn for it, prepare for such occasions and move on. No team in Spain and no team in Europe plays like current PSG. However, a lot might change come spring.

Another concern I had was our buildup and press being subpar and every single thing was evident today. A good press for 10 minutes is a waste of energy.
