I mean it's a big risk to buy old players, worked with Lewy in terms of goals and even here ppl complained he doesnt press enough. Maybe if Harry comes to Barca he wont even deliver the goals. Rather buy a younger striker. It's rare to see old players like Messi,Cristiano or Lewy who performed at older age
Why on earth would Kane suddenly stop scoring?

because he became old and declined....
if he comes next year to us he will be 33
there are not many strikers in history who played on a worldclass level at 33,34,35
injury-risk also increases massively
rather look for a long-term striker who isnt older than 30

Older players tend to pick up more and tougher injuries than younger ones, that’s why it’s realistic to expect that Kane could decline at some point. Look at Lewy dude, after his injury at the end of 2022, his overall game was never the same again. The risk of this happening is way higher for older players than for younger ones + they cant press as younger players so dont know why we still argue about it??

Kane will keep scoring goals at 39. He is that kind of striker. He barely relies on his pace, and his strength and vision/technique aren't going anywhere.

Ronaldo scores goals at 39/40 but hasnt improved teams he has been at since Real Madrid.
Even the last Euros there were a lot of calls from England fans to drop him as he wasnt playing well and didnt look mobile and if not getting ball up in and around him enough was fairly redundant.
Also he wasnt pressing.
Dont think thats what Barca need and better suited to Bayern at moment. They look like one of best sides in Europe and strong contender for CL.
Would undoubtedly score goals but do folk not want a CF with more mobility who can also make runs in behind for those balls Pedri/Yamal etc can play?

A lot of England fans are clueless and just want whoever the English striker is that plays for their club to play up front for England. Also Kane was clearly not fit during the Euros after only just coming back from a back injury he missed the last part of the season for at Bayern. He doesn't pick himself so that was on Southgate, who should have rested him during the group games but chose to run him into the ground.
Kane isn't the best at pressing, that's obvious, but he is often among the top few for distance covered for his club game by game.

Nah they were correct on him in that tournament and it wasnt just the fans either saying it.
