Amorim did great at Sporting. At a big club it is completely different than at Bournemouth, the challenges are more complex. Besides, considering the money put in it, United have the shittiest squad of all time. No team built for so much gave so little back.

If you are a promising manager United is a big risk and could chop off your wings really fast and really painful. Best to stay off, do your job in peace and simply wait for a more stable job opportunity.

Take the job at your own peril I suppose.

Where was all this balanced perspective with Ten Hag?

United don't have a midfield.

They have spent the last 3 summers investing in the attack, and then basically re-investing in the attack to replace the attackers they just invested in.

All while ignoring the midfield. Or when they did dip their toes into midfield, they signed a defensive midfielder (Ugarte) or loaned a defensive midfielder (Amrabat). Oh and the last midfielder they bought before these was... A defensive midfielder (Casemiro).

Madness.

Basically the rest of the Prem has focused on getting in bull holding central midfielders and Man United spent 4 years or more getting NOTHING.

If Arsenal dont win the title this year it will be because they have a negative bottle job manager in charge. They have the best and most balanced squad.

They sniff at managers that got championships and try to discover the next small club manager that is a hidden gem and they are gonna polish it because they are so great of a club. This is very much like Tottenham and Conte to me, just a small club mentality and too much ego in the top management for not much reason.

If you have a mess, bring in a proven skilled guy and go from there. Making the step to a big club is difficult as is for an inexperienced manager, let alone stepping into a big club that is a cesspool of crap for a decade give or take.

Moussa was at the match today and noticed Hamorim turns his back to the pitch often or not even looking at the play just staring at the ground. Skullduggeryball so horrid he won't even watch it himself.

Wonder if Glazers will really allow Ham to keep going till November just to save 7ish million.

Seems he wants the sack and his contract paid off. Knows it's all gone Pete Tong.
