Hodgeson so far looks like an incredible defender, and on the ball, again he looks like an incredible distributor.

But actually defensive wise, he is absolute butter on a hot day. Just very poor on that aspect that got overlooked coz he is sexy on the ball and looks a player.

Still, lads still only 20. Will either turn out great, or turn out de Ligt.

Man these Madrid fans always talk a lot and bark but when they lose they’re like it’s okay we have 36 LaLiga titles and 15 Champions Leagues.

It’s like us saying we were okay with losing against Atletico, Juventus and Roma because we spent the last 12 years winning 8 LaLiga titles and 4 Champions Leagues

Their problem is not an easy fix. Too many cooks spoil the broth. Some of their stars will have to put in the effort. All dream they are the top dog and it's beneath them to carry the load on the running part.

Curse of the Galactico policy.

I dont think their effort has been lacking even today.

In first few games of season they have been pressing relentlessly.

They leave a lot of room for teams to break on them and can pulls their CBs about.

Marseille showed that.

They have to adapt.

They don't. Guler and Valverde are great shooters, but as midfielders they are like Valladolid players compared to Modric and Kroos.
This. And the multi-million false CM Bellingham.

When your best midfielder is Valverde, who is a box to box CM, you have a serious problem.

The coping is crazy

Well, more accurately, you‘ve got slapped for a decade in CL, and even played Europa League and got slapped even there, like Bonnie Blue. Hence a bit strange analogy you’ve got there.

What exactly do you expect? Me, crying for entire weekend? For what? A beating early in the season, while being at the top , while having quality and time to figure it out, unlike the last season?

Real did the unprecedented, its time to give out some manitas in return! For frack safe!

Looked like he wanted Valverde and Tchou to sit and dictate while Bellimgham and Guler given free reign to go where they want but when it broke down they had zero shape.
