Ronaldinho

Technically, he is not wrong. When Messi came into his prime Bojan never played alongside Messi since Bojan's ass was firmly planted on the bench. So, yeah, the best player he played with couldn't be Messi.

Incorrect.

Bojan didn't play single minute with prime Ronaldinho, his first minutes (other than a meaningless friendly) was in 07/08 season. Ronaldinho was awful at the time and was injured most of the season, played just 26 games out of the 60 games we played, less than 1800 minutes registered, with 9 goals (3 penalties) and 4 assists.

Messi in the same season, played 40 games, almost 3K minutes, 16 goals (5 penalties) and 16 assists.

Even in the lone season Bojan played with Ronaldinho, Messi was absolutely better. Bojan played 2.2K minutes that season

Next 3 seasons, Bojan played around 1.8K & 1.5K, 1.5K minutes. And those seasons were some of the best ever Messi seasons, even if he wasn't a leader yet.

It is just a stupid statement from Bojan.

He is THE most ENTERTAINING player ever,by a landslide.

Nowhere near Messi as a player efficiency wise. Messi had 91+22 in 69 games.

I bet Dinho didnt have half of that.
When Dinho played in his prime it was just before the internet and stats revolution. Messi and Ronaldo bizarrely coincided with the rise of social media, which meant their great stats became a massive talking point. Also the stats revolution in football. With Ronaldo in particular it makes you wonder if part of his amazing stats is him being encouraged by the social media stats obsession. Maybe he'd have been more like Ronaldino if he played his peak in the 90s or early 00s.

It makes you wonder if part of the reason goalscoring and stats obsession have exploded in modern football is BECAUSE stats talk has made it more important to individual players.

People used to skip school so they can watch hit it under the wall against Werder Bremen.

Thats all I am saying.
