FC Barcelona Finances

I don't think these are good comparisons. Tickets vs. voting rights for a cultural institution which is FC Barcelona.

The likely scenario is selling a portion of the club, like I gave the Bayern scenario.

I need to know more about Bayern model. Is Bayern CEO elected by their fans?

Well, from what I've read few years ago the chairman of Adidas serves also as the chairman of Bayern. But, of course, the football operations are delegated to people linked to the club. I believe that's Oliver Kahn currently.

But again, Adidas/Audi/Allianz are all local Munich brands.

And all three are really big companies...

Oliver Kahn was fired over 2 years ago actually. Bayern is lead by the president Herbert Hainer (former CEO of adidas) and sportsdirector Max Eberl. The President is elected by the General Assembly of its members. Because they are a joint-stock company, they also have a supervisory board with 9 members. Hoeneß and Rummennige are included there. And then some other CEOs whose companies have bought Bayern stocks.
If Bayern wants to buy a player, they have a magical 50m treshhold. Everything under it Hainer and Eberl can decide together with the coach to buy the player or not. 50m and above transfer needs clearence from the supervisory board first.

That's more or less how they operate. In reality Hoeneß still leads the club behind the scene, as especially Hainer keeps listening to him. Wirtz and Woltemade were his personal targets and he didn't get neither.

PS: They're Bayern brands, not actually München. Audi is from Ingolstadt, Adidas from Herzogenaurach. BMW is a Munich brand and there were some talks that they wanted to take over from Audi, but I don't know what happened to it.

Meh, this is gonna get solved after Camp Nou is back on. You can't generate revenue without a proper stadium.

2-3 years max of this shit. Say the stadium is fully done for 2027-28, we should be looking at different numbers from 28-29.

How on earth the stadium revamp took that much time ?
destroying it and building a new one wouldn't take that much !!

Was scheduled for 2026. 1 year delay is not much. Then 1-2 years, most likely 2, to generate enough money off it to change things. Pretty realistic imo. Lewa wage off. Things will settle better. But not like Madrid better in terms of money. But seriously lower. We compensated with La Masia and our philosophy, which is what made and makes this club truly special.

Madrid had every aspect of managing better than Bartomeu Barca. Wages, transfers, bigger titles, everthing management-wise they outlcassed us top to bottom. We came back but the recent past doesn't get erased, it does damage for possibly more than a decade. It's a struggle we have to take on. It's not La Liga's fault, but our own doing.

Barto fucked up finances by pandering to amigos and then spending too much for attempted instant success.

Finances were in a shambles clearly..

They did many things very well that club benefit from now but that financial situation was crazy. They took too many risks and covid put nail in it.

And the funny and unforgivable part is he did that while giving the club some to the worst European humiliations between 2017 and 2020. Incredible failure.

I mean he fucked up the finances just so he can pick up humiliations in Europe 4 years in a row? 0-3 vs Juve, 0-3 vs Roma, 0-4 vs Liverpool, 2-8 vs Bayern.

While Madrid improved their finances AND won 3 CLs in a row in 2016, 2017, 2018. Incredible sabotage job.
