Many CBs have been historically good in the air.
But I can't remember any CB being as good in headers as VVD.

Arsenal were better than Bilbao but Bilbao is not top 3 in Spain, Tottenham - Villareal was a snoozefest decided by a keeper blunder and not much action otherwise, and this one was a fair win by Liverpool, but they had a hard time vs an Atletico that started the season struggling.

Normally, the best team in England should not win vs Atletico from a last minute corner.

True that Pathetico did not threaten enough, and had 1 lucky and another illegitimate goal.

But Liverpool failed to control this game, despite the early 2-0.
