Nah, more to it than the pitch, team imo knew we had to win or Madrid would distance themselves to 5 points. And Flick warnings landed. Played quicker, more like last season. Let's hope this is the start of a good run and not just a one off.

We played fine but 6-0 indicates a level far superior to what we displayed.

Valencia was truly, utterly useless. Having said that the team needed a confidence boosting win and so we got Valencia at the right time to get some momentum going.

Wouldn't read too much into performance from this match though.
