True, as I said. Player has some blame, not as much as the professionals whose job is to take care of players. That's why teams have doctors. They should know better than players in these matters.

The doctors job for Spain is to get him out on the pitch and performing if he can.

That is the reality.

Even if it is wrong for Barca.

The players absolutely have a big say whether can play or not.

Okay now the bit about playing when they are 3 goals ahead, he's just talking out his ass lol.

Because he never subs yamal, raphinha, pedri, even when we are leading by 5 goals 😂 😂.

Fuck outta here with that shit flick, Lost a bit of credibility saying that.
Not subbing a player when they aren't injured vs when they are injured are two completely different things. Making up a stupid argument just to shit on Flick. Come on now.

The point is, he doesn't sub players when games are won to prevent fatigue and muscle overload injuries, see balde and kounde last season.

Did I really need to spell that out for you coot?, I expect better even from you.

Or is it that you're denying that flick doesn't make subs when games are well won, to minimize the chances of his players pickup injuries.

He has no argument to tell a coach to sub a player at any point in a game, if the coach believes the player is fit to play, which DLF did, rightly or wrongly.

Elementary stuff.

You guys are too emotional to look at it from DLF point of view. He played his best player in two important matches and won them, Lamine will be back until the next international match so it all worked out great for him. I don't like it but I get it.

He doesn't care about Barca and Flick doesn't really deserve to complain if he also plays Yamal all the time, even when we have 3+ goals lead.

If he had just stopped at he played him while he was injured,I would have supported him fully, as I did in my first post.

But taking about subs after 3 goals leads, fuck outta here with that, when he makes subs while we were leading we would likely have our starting LB in the CL SF.

I think this is overly simplified.
If it was a WC, sure thing. If not then no, the job of the doctors/physios is to take care of the athletes' health and not only care about their performance, luckily most of the time go hand in hand as enhancing their health will help them perform.

In this particular situation, WC qualifiers that Spain won convincingly, I understand Flick's anger.
De La fuente has a history of doing this now, absolutely running Pedri into the ground first at the olympics, and then playing a visibly exhausted and very young Gavi in a meaningless game.

Also as a physio, I would never put the responsinbility on a 18 year old player, no matter how big a superstar he is.
It's Lamine's responsibility to report the pain and tell how he feels sure, but he obviously doesn't have the medical expertise to examine or know wether that pain could be a sign of a significant injury or not.

The Spanish NT staff was clearly aware of the pain, hence giving him pain killers and not letting him train. If they deem it too serious for him to train, then there's no excuse to play him unless it's an incredibly important match worth risking your health for. It wasn't.

Rumours are vague, but only that it's pain from the pubic bone. I've got no way of knowing whats up with him, but most groin injuries aren't easy to deal with. And given his age, I'd be catious with that area in particular knowing that's when the growth plates of the pubic bone are open (14-20 approx., with most injuries happening at 16-18).

Anyways, fuck De La Fuente and the Spanish NT, they should treat their young players better.

Don't think Flick is playing players on painkillers, that aren't able to train, when we are ahead.

He’s an 18 year old kid. If Doctors are giving him painkillers and then giving him the go ahead to play, do you expect a teenager to question that authority? Also, boi was on pain killers. He wouldn’t have known he was in pain until after the pain killers wore off.

100 % on Doctors and the Manager.
