Problem is return to Camp Nou was factored in our projected revenue for 2025-26. Expect another summer with cheapo signings. I believe this is the year we start to pay back the substantial loan for the stadium.

It is what it is I guess.

There was 400m odd due by 2028 which was mainly to be paid off through selling VIP seats etc.

They have renegotiated that to now be paid from 2033... just a coincidence none of that gets paid by Laporta at all and pushed onto next board...pure coincidence.

They are now trying to use some of the VIP money just to break even and get back to 1:1 and stop the board having to give up guarantees etc.

More and more debt being pushed down the road and the souces to pay it being used for other things as board can get their finances in order.

Laporta has managed to have all the benefit of the levers at expense of decades in future and also pushed the stadium debt back on to others also much more so than he said would happen.

But folk will still claim performed miracles and 'saved' club.

Debt has to be pushed down the road though, until Stadium is finished, full capacity and revenue generated.

Could only add rocket fuel in one other way.

By Selling Lamine or Pedri.

Pick your poison.

I get that construction projects often take double the time expected or more. But how can they, this summer after years of work already, believe it's a mere matter of weeks and small installations to be ready (gamper match) and then suddenly we're not even sure we'll return before next year. What a fucking joke.

Either they're fucking stupid or straight up lying, no way to defend this with "hmm construction always takes longer than expected".

How many more millions lost through Gamper and home games at Cruyff?

Never mind folk will say it is all brilliantly done and club was 'saved'.

It is not just the money it is the full on distraction to team and surroundings not even knowing where will be playing after 3 away games.

Amateur hour.

They have no clue and just ran their mouths like some sort of overly excited fan.

Should have known better.

It takes what it takes. Site is full of workers, if it takes more time, there's nothing more to talk about.

They lie all the time. I really don't get how people follow all the "news" through the years and can't see the constant bullshit. They made a video about returning to CN in April, now it's September and it doesn't look like we'll return this year. You really think they thought in April the return is just a few weeks away? No, they just lied.

How the hell we are going to replace Lewy?
