Idk whats wrong with this guy sometimes, Ronaldo is more than 2 years older than him and actually looks completely done, he was useless even in the past WC.. and yet he has no doubt about playing, because he knows Portugal has a chance to win it with the good team they have, meaning he will have a world cup trophy... and yet Messi is so casual... almost like he doesn't care... he was always too casual with all these things, not as hungry as Ronaldo... and Messi is in a much better form and still very sharp compared to Cristiano.

He WAS finished. But he fought back and only 2 months ago he has beaten Germany in Germany and sent Spain back to home + 3 days ago he scored a Puskas worthy goal with 40(!) Years. He needs just more rest. But if you need a goal he is still one of the best players itw.

Im excited to see how much rest he will get in WC, in 2022 he didnt look exhausted in the final games but now with 38 i cant imagine him playing every game
