People give so many average players time & lots of it, to show they are slightly above average.

Give him and all that new signings around Europe the same grace.

Average players like Gavi get 2 1/2 years to come back from injury etc.

Give Wirtz some time to settle in.

Players like Reijnders get to 28 before playing a season at top level and have won nothing and still some folk declare them as great players.

Wirtz should be fine.

Spot on about how boring the EPL is to watch. Oftentimes their supposed most anticipated games are unwatchable. I reckon that the Barca-Rayo game was more entertaining than anything we will see in the EPL all season long. 😅
Wirtz struggling in the EPL is not the flex EPL fans think it is. Questions needs to be asked why an EPL club with the highest net spend in Europe is parking the bus like Stoke City, whilst small clubs in Germany have the BALLS to come out and play against Bayern and Dortmund.

The negative mentality and downright COWARDICE of a lot of EPL clubs is unacceptable given the amount of money they are spending. The league being the most ' entertaining ' in the world is the biggest myth going.

As with last season, the only decent team to watch are Liverpool. With the money spent, the EPL should be sweeping up all the European trophies and have the most exciting games to watch, but still they get punted regularly in the UCL and the games between the top teams are almost always negative borefests.

Seen as a huge symbol of success, there are many, like me, that view it as nothing more than a huge symbol of failure.

EPL has far far more watchable games in a weekend than likes of La Liga.

Even likes of Arsenal losing 1-0 to Liverpool is watchable as it is tactical and top players that could do something out of nothing to win the game.

Barca v Rayo was a cluster fuck of largely poor quality game on a shit pitch with Rayo hoofing it long whole game and and awful defence barely able to cope with it.

Likes of Liverpool v Newcastle and v Bournemouth were better than that.

EPL is a snoozefest. Borefest galore! It reminds me a bit of discovering that David Fincher is about to release a new movie, The Killer. Anticipation builds up, for how could it not when the Director of Seven and Fight Club is about to release a new gem. Reality hits and the movie was living off of anticipation and reputation rather than on actual quality. That’s an EPL game every weekend just that The Killer was way better than anything the EPL has to offer us. Looks good on paper, that’s it. Snoozefest galore 😴

Arsenal plays Haramball.
Chelsea plays Semi-Haramball.
Mancity, Liverpool plays your shitass Pep/Xavi ball. No creativity, no freedom. Move the ball around, and when nothing works hoof the ball.

Top 4 all shit football.

FPL is the most exciting league to watch easily.

Folk salivate over thought of 0-0 or poor game but it is still more exciting than La Liga dross teams at a 0-0 as in EPL have players you will watch for moments even when game at a stalemate.

Liverpool play absolutely nothing like Pep... even Pep doesnt these days.

Folk in Spain watch a lot of EPL.. most folk in England dont give a fuck about La Liga.

Thats the reality.

Personally I prefer to watch Europa. Now that's a great crowd for a Tercera team.

Or in England, can't beat a bit of Bromley.

Well you can, but only if Bromley play away to Europa.

That's not the point though is it. The point is that when La Liga was outspending the EPL , albeit by a tiny fraction, Barca built the best team ever, Madrid built teams that marked a generation, and even Sevilla completed full Spanish domination of Europe with a swashbuckling side that everyone enjoyed watching.

In contrast, the EPL has been outspending La Liga by around 2 billion for numerous years now and they can't even excite anyone or reach a UCL final.

What is the excuse for Arsenal parking the bus and playing for a draw at Anfield, after having the largest net spend in Europe this season to add to the 1 billion they've already spent recently under Arteta? Especially when you consider that a tiny club with a tiny budget like Villarreal will come out WITH BALLS, to attack at the Camp Nou and Bernabeu.

PSG have spent billions and finally are getting congratulated for building a side everyone wants to watch. Not sure why you are defending criticism that EPL can't do the same. Unless you think folk are salivating at the thought of watching these frankly shit Arsenal, Chelsea and City sides. :titi:

McJams just can't get enough with being full of shit. Every other take is just being contrarian for sake of it. Don't believe your lying eyes he says. Worship this shitty glamourous league even if they can't make much use of all the shady funneled money they acquire with no restrictions.

He's a clown. Wrong about so much (like his Man United prediction last season) yet still talks like he's the oracle and the rest of us are clueless. Also loves to drop in that he knows people in football. Cringe as fuck.
