You actually cant support rival teams if you are a true football fan.
Even though I tell myself otherwise.
Even when I watched most Barca games , was I actually a fan? I have never been to a game irl.

Fair enough, that's a bit better. I too 'like' Barca without 'supporting' them. By that I mean I enjoy watching their style of players and their players, but it doesn't affect me if they lose. I am not bothered, whereas guys on here are emotionally invested.
But I definitely prefer Barca to Real Madrid. I don't see how you can like one, and not in turn automatically dislike the other, given they're rivals. Of course you can acknowledge they're both great teams and you can maybe enjoy both styles of play - but ultimately you must want one to lose as they come up head to head in games and domestic competitions.

That's how I feel too.
I used to support Rangers until all the dislike of their political and religious bollocks when my views formed as an adult.
I didn't feel right just supporting someone new, so now I support noone. But I guess if I had to choose I want Barca to win CL every season. But I am not a supporter because I honestly couldn't care less if they don't as I have a million more important things going on in my life. That's why I am not a supporter - supporters are emotionally invested, I am not. I merely 'like' Barca in a shallow way, mainly because I identify with their style of play and Pep, Messi, Cruyff, Xavi etc are the sort I relate to as footballers.
If anything, I would say I support 'ABU' ie I support anyone who plays Man United. I hate those cunts and am emotionally invested in their misery. I watch all their games and the bulk of my tribal watching of football is supporting everyone who plays against them.
If Barca could win the CL this season, but Man United winning the PL was part of the package deal, I would not want Barca to win the CL.
Maybe that is sad but I am a rather vindictive type when it comes to football.
