Barcelona has more international fans than local fans.

The issue is the socio model not giving full rights to global members hindering growth because of foreign ownership fears.

Just have election voting rights have to be made in person. Done.

Look, I am not saying he is perfect or anything, but all the success that we have got from the last 5 years are mostly due to him.

Yes it is frustrating to see us not being able to register players easily after 5 years but maybe this is due to the club’s financial situation being portrayed better than it truly was, I heard that if the club was a private company it would’ve been liquidated in the Barça Amazon documentary in season 1. And the levers they had to happen so the club can stay competitive cause everyone knows the biggest source of income for Barcelona is winning and if we went more years with austerity and winning nothing we’d be way worse off than we are now.

It is insane how we managed to hit rock bottom between 2020-21 and 2021-22 and somehow managed to win 2 LaLiga titles in the 4 years that ensued since with our European performance improving year by year after 2022-23, within a red card of UCL semi final in 2023-24 and a few minutes away from a UCL final last season. We have improved in one way or another year by year since he became president.

I agree that he did do some big mistakes, like his dealing with Xavi and Koeman, but this things have to happen and they happen in all big clubs. You have to be ruthless to be able to comeback on top it is a general rule of business and sports in general. And also the stadium debacle, now I agree it is disappointing that we did not comeback to the Camp Nou yet but it happens in construction, delays happen. Now there isn’t a reason why he lied about it, he said he did it so he can give pressure on the contractor to finish their job more quickly.

At the end of it all, despite the mistakes (Xavi debacle, Koeman debacle, Stadium debacle, Dembele debacle etc.) I think he has done a job which is pleasing for Futbol Club Barcelona and its fans. And with a 105k stadium underway it is not easy to completely rebuild the club’s finances by lowering the wage bill significantly and still manage to build a new stadium under the best coach in the world with the best players in the world playing the most exciting football in the world.

For now, it is easy to say that he is the best option we have and once he leaves whether it is next year or another time, we’ll be able to judge him fairly and without emotions that can skew the way we see things. I mean many people here doubted Laporta in 2008 and after he left in 2010, the club suffered a huge and slow decline that the club is still recovering from structurally, reputably and sportingly.

So yeah this is the point I wanted to convey and whether you like him or hate him. I think we should just enjoy the team we have now and just reap the rewards of Flick.
