Not really. They aren't buying from Barca, Madrid, PSG, Bayern, no? They buy B players basically from non-top tier clubs. Hoping to develop them into top ones.

That's the issue, even if you have money, you aren't going to attract the best players that play at bigger clubs. It's not like Arsenal go and buy Yamal, Mbappe, Pedri, Valverde etc. They can't touch those stars.

Huh?

Most of the top players have been developed 'in house'. Mbappe on that list is the only exception!

Vinicius, Bellingham, De Jong, etc.

There's a differrence in status from EPL clubs to the top 5 clubs in Europe, especially Barca, Madrid, but also Bayern most likely. In this area, the money EPL teams have make little differrence.

Considering the moves PSG made... it's likely EPL teams are gonna lose even a bit more prominence. Also noted Spain and France are bigger talent pools than England. Also noted that probably 3 of the best 5 English players currently play at Bayern and Madrid, not in EPL.

Still the other way around, Bayern bought the best striker in EPL. Tottenham, Arsenal are never going to go and buy Kimmich for example. Or Musiala.

My point is the likes of Bournemouth who most would consider a mid table team are able to spend more and recruit better players in comparison to mid table la liga clubs.

Yeah, that's correct. My point is that despite this superiority of the midtable clubs in EPL, at the top of the top, things look differrent.
