Think we can keep him another year without his value tanking. I see no option to strengthen the squad by selling Casado now. Sure it would help with registrations but that will be solved either way. We need competition in the squad. If we have an injury crisis at CB with Araujo and Chris, the depth at RB is suddenly gone. Wouldn't mind trying Marc there.

Barça would accept offers for Marc Casadó if he requests to leave. There are proposals from Como, Real Betis and Wolves, with the latter offering around 30 million euros. The player doesn't want to leave even though he has already been told he will hardly get any minutes this season. @santiovalle

After the great first half of the season he had there should be no logical sporting reason to sell him. The only reason they would sell him is to register the remaining few players who are still not registered...despite losing Inigo...and Ter Stegens 80% reduced wages...

Otherwise, why aren't they registered yet?

Honestly, one of the more obvious sales I've seen in a while. I have no qualms keeping him but considering what we already have and upcoming, Casado will most likely quickly become redundant and a sale would take advantage of that, especially for 30m plus.

Does make sense to sell him with Bernal not being back and will need 12 months to find himself again.

While he proved last season he can replace de Jong without the team having any dip in quality.

You need that.

It is not the norm it takes 2 years to come back from ACLs.

The team clearly took an upturn in quality when FDJ came back fit.

They had struggled to win a game in league in months prior to that and were getting scudded 3-1 away to Benfica etc.

Past November Casado was poor to average the majority of the time and he and Pedri were not a strong partnership for most of it either.

The best game Casado had in 2025 was beside FDJ other than Supercopa final.

His vision is way better than from a usual defensive midfield player and he is just entering his prime.

But he needs to agree to leave and i cant imagine him doing that.

I don't want a true cule leaving but sporting wise it's hard to argue against it if we would get a big offer (we won't). If the club belives in Bernal then we have Casado, Gavi, Bernal, Pedri and FDJ for 2 position, that's too much long term while we have huge holes in defense.

The problem is that the idiots are not capable of getting a big fee for him (at least 60 mil in todays market), we'll sell him for peanuts and what do we gain from it? Registrating Tek and Roony? The fee surely won't be enough to buy a top CB so we'll just make the team worse if we sell him. Idiots

If there was enough interest in Casado or top clubs rating him he fee would be high.

Clubs wouldnt sit back and let other teams get him.

The interest in him would determine the fee more than anything else.

Barca are getting 12m for Pau and bids of 15m for Gerard and could sell many more for big fees as clubs want them. That is what determines the fee more than anything.

It also helps buying clubs that he is not on a big salary.

There will be no big offers most likely as he isnt rated that highly to receive them.

It is all well say keep him but then could well be he stays, barely plays and value is even lower in January or next summer.

That is the risk for him and club.

He could well be 4th choice in his one position next season if all stay fit.

But what are peanuts? I think 30 million would be a very good fee for him.
For example chelsea sold a midfielder for 28 million with 26 PL games last season, ideal premier league profil (big, high and france)
Is casado better than a standard talent? I dont think so. He is average but can be a important sub for us.
But there will be many more la masia talents for MF position in the next years, we have to cash in for a few.

But below 30 million i wouldnt agree
