13 - Iñaki Peña

Both GKs will be registered in August. Just a question of whether it will be before the 16th when league starts. In that case Iñaki might play first 1-2 games. But I doubt it will be needed.
Exactly. It depends on the auditor, when he finally finishes his work, so Barca can send the report to LaLiga and receive an answer about their current ffp and in which rule they will operate. In any case, there is some ffp margin the club achieved, now they're waiting for this report. And if all bridges burn, there is still the new option of LaLiga allowing 3 players to be registered without any ffp margin, but the club must find it until the end of the season, if I understand it correctly.

In any case, we need to thank Tebas for this bureaucratic shitshow.

No the new rule is for players under 23 years old (i think this age) who played a few years for the club. So for lamine for example we dont need ffp marge but we have to solve the marge throughout the season or we get a smaller ffp next year.

These are two different rules. You are talking about:

One of the key changes is that La Liga sides will now be able to sign players under 24 who have been at the club for three consecutive seasons to a new deal and reigster them, giving them until the end of the season to find the money in their salary limit to do so. If they do not manage to make up the difference, that money will be taken off their salary limit for the following season.

This rule was made to extend the own, homegrown players even if the clubs don't have the ffp margin.
Then, there is this:

Those same clubs over their limit will be allowed to register a maximum of three players though, one via transfer, two on a free transfer, with their impact on the salary limit only being counted for a single season, again easing spending restrictions. The clubs will then have until the end of the year to find the money to register the rest of their contracts.

We're just gonna loan him for one extra year because of this stupid decision. Just let him go if we register Tek. We're gonna have 4 goalkeepers under contract for the next 2 years.

It was said that his salary was too high for any club to agree on buying him.
The club is probably decreasing his salary (you get less this season, but over two years you are granted more money overall) and hoping he will do good enough for someone to bite on a less salary by 2026

It isn't Bartou's fault, but as I said before, big clubs are forced to overpay for bench players.

People act as it is a privilege to be in Barca, playing beside superstars etc, when it just put peer pressure on players to match a certain life style that a starting GK in lower table can't have. No player will accept staying here on the bench without a significant payment, same in almost every club like ours.

Inaki was just not good enough for Barca backup GK, that is the main issue. The likes of Cillessen and Neto were easy to get rid of because they could get semi lucrative contract and a starting place elsewhere. Inaki won't get that

What's his salary really, I doubt it's that high to put off many clubs, especially the club he was linked with in turkey.

More likely clubs don't want to buy for him and want to take advantage of our need to sell imo

We're talking about Pena. They could just get some random goalkeeper or promote one if he demanded such a salary.

We waited too long, Gala is now negotiating for Ederson.

Also possible their supposed interest was just media BS.
