HIs own opinion about his fitness has as much weight as his own statement about his injury time. Obviously he can go to a neutral fitness coach and get some sort of confirmation about his fitness, that he takes to court, but such things take time, don't feel good, make him even more alien with the club.

Do you really think he wants to train every day, face the journalists every day after all this shitshow? I see him dragging his injury until winter and then try to leave. I still don't see him sitting 3 years in the stands, living in Barcelona facing daily fans on the streets insulting him and ending his career with 33. Right now he might feel angry, but this feeling will pass as well.
I still trust his senses, his family clear his mind that it's not worth to end his career over this, especially because it'll be soon over anyways.
Yeah I was thinking how it would be more embarrassing for him to train with the first team knowing he will never play. A true third GK.

If he feels well and wants to train he will tell the trainers that he's ready to train. If he can do the stuff he's supposed to do, how can club justify sending him to the gym? If he can't (this is where a normal player would say he feels pain), then trainers will come up with an individual plan. And repeat.

His own opinions matters a lot when he is back in training, as does with any player who has been injured. Doctors can't know how a player feels. They can create a clear plan for recovery with different steps but in the end it's the player who has to feel good enough to advance to next step. If it doesn't work like that the doctors either will unnecessarily hold back/prolong the player's recovery or pressure into a relapse.

Why not?
It is a simple disciplinary measure often opted
He will still be registered as 1st team, and all that.

It could be OK for a short while, but not half a season.

Having been burned when I was quick to judge Frenkie I will refrain from blaming it all on Ter Stegen.
Club does use press to run smear campaigns/do the dirty work and we all know Laporta lies about everything so who knows what's true.

Well it's crystal clear THO: Stegen is angry that club signed his replacement and he is out of Flick's plan.
He is retaliating.

Can there be something more to it, other than that?

This will be a good point for Barca's lawyers when they want make a case of him behaving intentionally against the interest of our club. Yes, he remains in his legal rights, but no player ever blocked this report, as professional athletes are not comparable to the usual employees. Barca's lawyers argued similary against Matheus Fernandes when Barca terminated his contract and although he sued for his entire 14m outstanding salary (which superficially looked at is a clear case for him, because he had a contract), he got only 700k compensation in the end. What seems clear in the beginning, might not be in front of the court in the end.
So MAtS needs to watch out not to feed the club's lawyers enough material to make a similar case.

Spot on!

The club has indeed strong legal case, irrespective of what the players association says.
And it was evident from the start.

Some people here should start understanding basic legal concepts

We shouldn't forget this is a good thing long term if we can register Garcia somehow. Before MATS acted against the club there was still a small chance that he could play if 2 goalkeepers get injured or couldn't get registered. After this I think there is no chance he ever plays again even if he's the only available player in the club.

I think Laporta would put himself in the goal before him after this shit, at least Laporta would block some shots with his fat ass so we would be better off than with MATS.

A huge win for all cules, 10 years too late.

Club signed Garcia before Ter Stegen was injured. How did they plan to register then?

Don't blame Ter Stegen wanting to get back and compete as soon as possible just because Laporta shannanigans.

Because Barca doesn't depend on this rule to register him, already mentioned a few times. It's just the most easy and direct way that opened up.

There won't be any competition for him, Flick made that clear in a personal talk with him. Confirmed by all tier 1 journalists. He will be the third goalkeeper in this season, no matter what happens.
