It was the definition of a purple patch of scoring, as has been proved by him being useless since then, and a lot before then.

He did well statistically, but his all;-round game was poor as ever. I have heard many United fans saying even when he scores his all-round game is poor, and that is what I see when I watch him too.

Fair enough. I never said he was terrible. I don't particularly rate him but he has some uses. I still consider him a risk of a loan signing though, but he does have some upside if it works out well.
