Marcus Rashford

Fabrizio says it's 14 mil so he will be a lot better paid than many of our best players. Some foreign lazy unprofessional bum who never did anything for the club will be getting more than our players who brought us the title last season, seems fair.

It's gonna be interesting registering him, hope they solve Garcia's registration first.

It's a loan, Barca didn't give him this contract so no player inside the locker room will look at him and say "Trashy earns more than me, I want a raise too".

Also, life it's not fair, get over it. Any footballer earning millions more than other people who are also good at their jobs is not fair but it is what it is.

We will see soon how much of a bum he is. Season gonna start in less than a month.

Ansu got us 3m loan fee and 7m saved wages. We get Rashford for Ansu + 4m per season. Good deal for low cost.

And there's no mandatory buy option. Means we ship him to United if he doesn't work out.

Really? Who do we have on 7m net? Certainly not Lewa, Lamine, or Raph.

Probably comparable wage with Raphinha, probably a bit lower. But Raphinha also cost us 10-15m extra per season in amortisation for his 60m transfer fee to Leeds.

Well, we don't really know but guys like Pedri, Cubarsi, Fermin, Balde, Ferran are bellow Rashfords full salary. Maybe even Rapha, Kounde, Inigo, Araujo etc.

Rashfords salary isn't 7 mil net, that's without the bonuses for games played (which he'll get because he'll get game time even if he's bad).

It's a loan, Barca didn't give him this contract so no player inside the locker room will look at him and say "Trashy earns more than me, I want a raise too".

They should.

Meh, those bonuses are probably low. Even if we pay his full wage of 8m net it's a good deal, it's a one year loan with no fee and no obligation to buy. Best low cost upgrade we could have made really.

This club is so inept at scouting that all they could come up with after failing on Nico and Diaz is a United reject who wasn't a success even at Aston Villa.

So in other words, no real pay cut. Just as I expected. Knew those pathetic Catalan journalists were spewing BS fed by the board yesterday. First it was a 50% cut, then 30% and now we’re down to only 15%, and that’s before the easily obtainable bonuses that will take him up to his current salary, if not even higher. Who fucking knows with how disastrously bad this club is ran? Circus de FC Barcelona rolls on!

OK,
if Romano's info is correct, it's not as sweet a deal as it was originally thought.

14m gross is not 10m gross....
Looks close, but on wage structure there is a big difference.

I blame fuckn '0 SD skills' Deco for that...
Obviously the player reduced from 19m gross to 14m gross.
The rest is up to the SD.
Make UTD pay at least 4-5m gross of that.
We have all the cards, they have NONE

What a clown of SD :clown: we have

Lol. Oh okay. What would you have done if you were in charge?

It was not likely United would let him go again while paying part of his salary for the 2nd summer in a row.

And the scouting part is not valid this time. We need someone who can contribute straight away. Nico would have been ideal, but other than him others aren't worth a big financial effort.

They don't have any card mate.
It was just like us with all the players we wanted/want to get rid of on high salaries.
We would accept whatever we could

That's on fuckin Deco

It makes the deal look a bit worse, but at the end of the day it's a loan for a player who will improve the depth significantly.

At least we're not committing 70m + a similar salary for Luis Diaz who is older.

They have cards. And they obviously have money unlike us when we had Coutinho and were desperate. They are spending 200m again this sunmer.

It's not on Deco. It's a good deal for everybody, especially us who upgraded Fati with a better player in every way with not a lot extra.
