Tik tok.... Less than 12 months on his contract. Could fuck us over royally.

Summer 2026.

-Lewandowski is gone

-Frenkie is gone

-Camp Nou is still being built and city council has said it won't be ready for Gamper.

-We are back to 1:1 but only if Tebas approves the VIP seat sales and the NFT player sales. Tebas says we know what we have to do, that we have to sell one player. He recommends to be Lamine for 100m, to Madrid.

-Flick has 10 players from La Masia as part of his pre-season. Pedro Rodriguez from midfielder is impressing him immensely and attacker Tunkara is looking incredible. Sport and MD report that the club thinks they are ready to replace Frenkie and Lewandowski, and will join the tour of the Galapagos.

-Its late August and Mendes has offered the club Joe Felix and Joey Cancel. The club is interested but one problem, Deco is already on holiday and has his phone set to vibrate.

We would be fine without him, we are stacked in Midfield, bernal and casado can do the job easily.

That being said he was good last season, we should renew.

But in 2 years it will be a problem, when bernal if he's good enough is ready to be a starter and de jong still has years left on his contract and based on past experiences, we know he ain't going anywhere.

But that's a future problem

Could be similar to Nico situation where club pressured player into releasing his current agent?

Nah, I think this is Frenkie’s own decision.

Although hiring Zahavi was probably recommended by the club.

Dursun was making it complicated for no reason. If his client want to stay and is fine taking the same salary or adhere to the salary structure club have set then I don’t see why you’re being so stubborn still.

Noone knows what's actually happening. Did Frenkie said he is staying? Didn't see it.
Catalan press are speculating it's his agent's fault. Could be all bs.

Question is, where would Frenkie go? He will be 29 when his contract is out.

He seems comfortable in Barcelona. At most I can see a new challenge in Bayern or a pay raise in PL, but not sure which club would suit him.

Think he will renew.
