Bang average player(these days) with a rotten attitude. What could possibly go wrong? Find out next in the absolute circus that is FC Barcelona.

Sometimes a change of scenery away from bad influences and a little bit of sun can do wonders. Look at Sir Antony for example.

We'll see though. It's now or never for him. He's a talented guy, but his committment and mentality obviously have always come into question along with his consistency from year to year.

He was pretty decent for Villa in the short time he was there on loan despite Emery having a more conservative approach at times.

He has a lot more going for him at least. Sancho the other hand so non-chalant and is much slower.

Its kinda a win win scenario for us.

If his attitude is shit, he still has enough quality to play at least 1000 minutes for us against lower teams.
And if he turns it around, we have a demon that can come on as a sub.

With no financial burden, and for a Sub. This is an absolute W.

As I have been harping on for the whole summer, getting him on Loan in cheaper wages is the best deal we can do this summer. And its not even a joke.

Edit: Garcia was the best deal. But you catch my drift.

Been saying this from the get go. Low risk with potential very good upside.

Only problem could be we sign him and then he turns bad.

His wages are huge, you are assuming United are paying 50%, which would still be decently high. We can only hope the wages are in our favor.

EDIT: Plettenerg just mentioned he took a large salary cut to join, if so, that's pointing towards good faith. If he does really want to join, we can be hopeful he will carry it over with effort on the pitch.

Saw some reports saying we'll pay him 10m gross and he'll waive rest of the salary so Utd won't cover anything.

Basically taking a paycut to force it through.

Whats with this significant cut business, we are paying half his wages and man utd the next half or did he literally give up 6m euros for 1 season, and we are splitting the 10m.

Which I find highly unlikely, ain't nobody giving up 6m.

All reports point out that its not going to cost us a lot. All the reports summer long were saying the same aswell.

And I agree with you, IF he is on huge wages then its not a good deal.

From Luis Diaz to Nico Williams to Marcus Rashford.

It is what is is.

Luis Diaz will be half price next summer or free the summer after.

Liverpool are bleeding one first team player per year (Trent->Konate->Diaz).

Make em bleed until they change strategy of over pricing their places.
