We have 4 keepers now. 2 will have to leave and since Tek is just renewing, it's clear these are MAtS and Pena.

We usually have three GKs in the match squad so there could be a situation where Joan Garcia, Tek and ter Stegen all are a part of the squad when the season starts.

Far from ideal and definitely not what the club would want, but cannot rule it out if ter Stegen insist on staying.

True. Tek is on a much much better wage for a back-up keeper. Stegen is not. Stegen is the one to be pushed out as he won't get any game time. Stegen is not going to magically turn into a world beater. His usual best is not good enough for a starter position, and as a bench player he earns too much.

Nico had options, at least two that we know of outside of Barca and 1 that to him at least is just as appealing as playing for Barca as a basque if not more so.
