That is just sad, RIP
Tragic for the family.
The car, a Lamborghini, left the road due to a tyre blow out while overtaking another car. The car set on fire, and both are confirmed to have died.
Sounds to me just another case of underestimating physics. Many people don't realize the risk they're taking driving these sportcars.
I doubt it. Lambos are just garbage cars. They are the equivalent of Gucci wear costing thousands of dollars while being made of cheap polyster in Bangladesh for new-rich Insta influencers to pose around with.
There was a German blog some 15 years ago or so which documented cases like this. The blogger's Lambo, for no reason at all on a straight dry road skids into the guardrails and goes up in flames. After surviving he investigates and finds out about many similar cases where Lambos mysteriously crash and go up in flames. Here is an old article about it:

Mysteriöse Unfallserie: Ein Blogger gegen Lamborghini
Autobahnkreuz Wilhelmshaven: Der Schortenser Sebastian Constapel ist dort mit seinem 200.000 Euro teuren Lamborghini unterwegs. Plötzlich bricht der 560 PS starke Bolide aus und knallt in die Leitplanken – kein Einzelfall, wie ein Blog zeigt.www.nwzonline.de
Anyone can Google translate it. Unfortunately the blog itself does not exist anymore, Lambo probably managed to get it taken down.
In supercars like Lamborghinis, high-pressure fuel systems are used. Should leaks happen near hot components like exhaust manifolds or turbochargers (temperatures often exceeding 600° C), escaping fuel or fuel vapors can ignite. Especially in mid-engine vehicles like the Gallardo or Aventador with limited space in the engine compartment.
In 2012, Lamborghini issued a recall for approximately 3,900 Gallardo models (2004–2006) due to potentially leaking hydraulic hoses. This fluid could come into contact with hot surfaces and cause fires.
In 2017, Lamborghini recalled around 5,900 Aventador models because a defect in the fuel tank could release fuel vapors, which could ignite on hot exhaust components.
Would be surprised if this was a case of married man with 3 kids who isn't driving a sportscar for the first time in his life "underestimating physics".
I meant the general statement about these cars, not solely speed. Their nature is to push physics to the limit, that's why they're being built. While the majority of cars have safety as their number one prio, they have speed and acceleration. There are many more dangerous parts about them than only reckless driving like you said for example high-pressure fuel systems and many more parts that have simply a bigger chance to fail.Would be surprised if this was a case of married man with 3 kids who isn't driving a sportscar for the first time in his life "underestimating physics".
I hope in near future, at least in the most advanced world cities, driving will be a thing of the past
Because car accidents are the worst thing. So many young people disappear, and it's so fucking avoidable
It's all speculation at this point and we would have to wait for an investigation (if it ever goes public).Would be surprised if this was a case of married man with 3 kids who isn't driving a sportscar for the first time in his life "underestimating physics".
