Liverpool - RIP Diogo Jota

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
In all seriousness, if they are going in to the Champions League with Salah still as their main guy, they won't have much chance of winning it.

That guy Salah is not the man for the Champions League.

These clowns and United love to talk about 'oil clubs spending' when they have both paid a fucking fortune for players over the years. Dating back to the 90s if you wanna talk just PL days.

Victims FC this lot. The only likeable thing about them is they hate the Royal Family.

Leaks that Pool close to signing Guehi from Palace for 40-45m pounds.

Also, reports that Pool ready to break British transfer record for Alexander Isaak this summer

@Temptation what's going on?
Have FSG mutated into an entirely different entity?

It was about time they spend some money.. Last summer they signed Valencia's GK and loaned them back to them right away and Chiesa who was injured majority of the season..

And that's the best answer why a even mediocre data analysis department is better than a human with a good-eye on players.

One of the greatest coaches of the sport could not see that Isaak is 3 or 4 times better than Nunez.
Data analysts could...
(I know I said the other post would be my last post). Not being funny but I said Isak was a player at the Euros in 2021. And Nunez always looked a donkey to me. I'd have signed Isak at the time too. It's wholly unsurprising to me that Isak has proved to be better by a mile.

It's not some spectacular change in who's better out of Isak and Nunez. It's simply a massive, massive fail by Klopp. Everyone has them and this is his. It's also because Klopp has a penchant for guys who run aimlessly a lot, like Nunez does. I am sure plenty of other people would have taken Isak at the time too, Klopp was simply way too stubborn. he's a great coach but he's not infallible and will make errors.

Even in 2021 or 2022 it was obvious from watching both players for 10 minutes that Isak was far more talented. Far better first touch, dribbling, technical ability, finishing. Nunez was always a donkey.

Edit - also, according to that Klopp wanted Brandt over Salah. Maybe Klopp isn't the genius he is made out to be. Certainly, I rate Pep at least two tiers higher. Especially for style of football.

Btw, Edwards and the scouting team got loads wrong too in terms of transfers- people just remember the great ones he got (and even he couldn't have predicted the likes of Salah, Robertson and Allison would be as brilliant as they have been).

Going back many years:

'Graham does tend to sugar coat it a bit he loves to talk about the ones data analysis got right and managers got wrong less keen to talk about the Naby Keitas, Mignolet, Grujic, Markovic , Sakho all the rubbish signings they made too it's been a mixed bag on both sides;

I would also absolutely love it if Wirtz, Kerkez, Frimpong and whoever else they sign (Isak?) totally flop and these cunts win fuck all.

I don't like Man City, but bellend entitled 'heritage' clubs like this lot, Man United and Arsenal, the three red arsecheeks who think they deserve to own English football (at least two of who were smaller clubs than City before the days of Busby and Shankly by the way), talk about 'plastic teams buying the title' when they spend a fucking fortune themselves. They act like they're paupers who have never spent a bean.

Deluded, entitled, arrogant cunts.

Doesn't prove anything about Klopp's coaching abilities. Just proves a WC coach is not a WC SD.
which should have been elementary knowledge for some, but apparently it's not...

I think most could see that Charles Darwin had the same striking issues that Vitor Roque had, at different tier levels of course.

Just that a coach like Klopp thought he could coach and outwork these creases in the shirt.

100m was a crazy amount though.

Never said anything about his coaching, which is high class. Just that his ability to spot talent might be overblown.
