Yep exactlySo, according to you,
- having watched a player in 6 or 7 crucial European games the whole season,
- having watched around 8-10 highlights of him from domestic games,
- having read his stats, and some analyses on him
means 'talking out of your ass'....
and I'm telling you 18/19 Messi wouldn't have done much at all in this Inter Miami side.Nowhere did I write that this Inter Miami side should have been competitive against this PSG.
NOWHERE
My perspective is simple: I haven't seen Messi against Europe's elite for more than 2 years.
That was an occasion to see that. To see how he performs against such players and teams.
Simple point, nothing else
Il Professore watch through twitter and some random analysis there..
Yep exactly
Talking out your ass, because you're probably lying about the CL games you saw him in.
Infact I'm 100% you're lying based on your XG analysis of the CL final and you came to the grand conclusion that their is no way PSG should win the way they did.
While someone like me who actually watched PSG this season, called the win before a ball was kicked.
You are a XG and highlights merchant.
Knowing that makes everything make sense.
6/7 important games by ass, maybe 4 and that's pushing it.
Let Nico get the Flick treatment and see what happens to him. He's scored in big games before...like the Euro final.PSG could have scored 10+ goals if they didn't shut it down i the second half.
That said, Inter Miami is a marketing ploy more than a serious football team, so it is to be expected.
Kvaratskhelia is a freaking driller dawg. Nico will be an excellent signing but Kvara would have been next level. No way this cat is Georgian. Technical ability of a vintage Brailizan footballer with the directness of a vintage German footballer.
Sheesh.
.

Current Messi wouldn't have looked out of place in the 18/19 Barca team.
18/19 Messi and Current Messi basically share the same strengths and weaknesses
Think if Nico improves his passing and scoring, he will be leagues ahead of Kvara.Kvaratskhelia is a freaking driller dawg. Nico will be an excellent signing but Kvara would have been next level. kvara is pretty agile. I am not sure if Nico will ever be that good in smaller spaces. Nico has higher center of gravity. long legs.Think if Nico improves his passing and scoring, he will be leagues ahead of Kvara.
Kvara is a complete package, but that's his ceiling.
Nico ceiling is much higher.
Just saying you talk shit is enough.CL final is not indicative because Inter were a caricature of themselves.
That is not an opinion, it's a fact admitted by any professional in the business.
It's also not an accident that the odds between them were super close before the kick-off.
All of you with the supposedly 'inside' knowledge that PSG were so much better before the final look more like clowns, rather than the sage you think you look...
CL final is irrelevant to the whole discussion THO
I had watched my fair share of PSG games in CL both this and last season:
24/25: PSG- Inter, PSG-Arsenal (x2), PSG-Villa (x2), PSG-Pool (x2), PSG-City (league), Bayern-PSG (League), Arsenal-PSG (league),
23/24: PSG - BvB (x2), PSG-Barca (x2), BvB-PSG (group), PSG-Milan (x2) (Group), PSG-Newcastle (x2) (Group)
That's 19 games of PSG in CL the last two seasons, roughly 1,710 minutes of football excluding extra-time and penalties.
If you think that after 19 European games (1700 minutes) against top sides, someone cannot form an opinion about a team and a player, then you are totally clueless about football
" Inter Miami are on the same level with Barca""Current Messi wouldn't have looked out of place in the 18/19 Barca team"?
Ok, watch his highlights from that CL again, and come back to tell me current Messi could do the same
It's not even close.
PS: It might be the same strengths and weaknesses as far as the kind we are talking about (for example, strength: through ball, weakness: defending), but his strengths have lost their bite, and his weaknesses have become even more blatant.
It's basically the same with anyone getting old. Doesn't happen only to Messi
He is the 2nd highest dribbler in LaLiga behind Yamal. I think he will be fine.kvara is pretty agile. I am not sure if Nico will ever be that good in smaller spaces. Nico has higher center of gravity. long legs.
