So what baring has that argument on a final when Rodri isnt even in the squad?

The same amount as you bringing up a final has a counter to a point I wasn't trying to make.
An that counter is what in your statement above? That Rodri is the best MC in the world? What does that matter when he is not playing?

He's a tremendous player. Not sure why anyone ever doubted him. It's literally just the injuries that can stop him being one of the best players on Earth.
He might be even better passer than Iniesta

I don't know about better passer than Iniesta, but he's definitely one of my favourite players to watch.
As I said before, I don't know why people doubt this player. He only turns 23 next season and he's already a fantastic player. Much better than bellingham for me

Iniesta used to give the ball away with overly ambitious passes, especially in his later years, all the time. Pedri is more like Xavi in this regard.
Iniesta's cheat-code ability was in his tight space ball control and line-breaking unpredictable runs on the ball. Pedri can destabilize defenses with runs from deep too, but I don't think he reaches Iniesta's level in that regard. He has a bigger arsenal of abilities than Iniesta tho IMO

Yeah iniesta was a great passer too but his true genius was in the form of wriggling in tight spaces and dribbling. Pedri is a great dribbler but not as good as iniesta at it.
