Yeah I was half being sarcastic.

But it was the follow through too. There wasn't really much Lewis could do about it. Seemed unfortunate.

I have only seen one angle though and only half watching so might be wrong.
Yes he didn't mean to do it but ref can do nothing about it.. even without intent it's considered "neglect" in the rule book.

Yeah I know intent doesn't matter. But I am sort of a bit peeved by that rule so I make a point of pointing it out whenever something like that happens lol and applying my own rules.

I can understand why intent isn't a consideration, but I sometimes think it should be too. Unfortunate accidents can lead to red cards. Feels harsh to give the same punishment to an accident to something premeditated (but then that is what extra punishment after the game is for). But then we don't wanna see players injured either, intent or not.

Lol they won't even let Modric rest after the regular season and with him moving to another club. Squeezing his carcass for this tournament.

Who is Gonzalo?

Arda Guler can't even get a game without Bap player.

Xabi wants to make it clear as chops that he wants a CF and refusing to play a false 9 already. Xabi going full Xavi. Lovely jovely.

As goalkeeper, to block the goal.

It's funny because I was watching the handball and looking at the size of the goals, was legitemately studying the specifics of whether the worlds biggest Sumo wrestler could effectively block the goal by standing in front of it.

Weeeelll, that's one for ChatGPT. BRB.

Ōrora Satoshi is the heaviest sumo wrestler ever (~292 kg).
Estimated goal coverage: ~39% of a handball goal's area just by standing in front of it.
If he raised his arms or moved laterally, he could cover 50% or more momentarily.

Not bad....
