Can't take out of that the context that both Diaz and Raph play for new age managers who live and die by pressing, hence there wingers will run more.

Mister isn't that type of coach, he sits in a mid block when defending.
The amount of distance covered is generally a very crude indicator. Context is important, yes. For example, Vinni has a higher mileage in the Champions League than Raphinha, but no one in their right mind would say that he defends better than Raphinha. But 7 km is a very low indicator.

I agree 7 is low, but I think for a coach that emphasize pressing more,he'll add minimum another .7km

For those worrying about his commitment to the team, remember this guy is Basque

If he sticks here for some time he will die for the shirt and be as loyal as homegrown players and maybe more than some

You can see it already with the example from Athletic. He could have left a long time ago if he wanted

Ignore the stats, we all know they are misleading. If you look at the person, if you look at Nico, you see a man who is going to work hard and press for the team if that's what manager demands

He would double his numbers here at least.

I belive he will go.

No way he is doing same shit as his brother, and forever being stuck at Bilbao.

Nico Williams | UEFA Europa League 2024/25

UEFA.com

per match. 3. Assists. 0.24 avg. per match. 73.31%. Passing accuracy (%). 35.08. Top speed (km/h). 32.85 avg. per match. 97.39. Distance covered (km). 7.08 avg.

None of the links about Europa works, can you share screen shot, especially if it shows total distance

7 km per 90.

Sorry, but no...we don't need him.

In the Euro he ran 54.53KM in 494 minutes
That is 9.93 km per 90 minutes, not 7km
It is actually more than solid number for an attackers (midfielders are the ones that break 10km)

That said, his upsides are still there (young, spanish NT, big potential, resale value, friends with Lamine). Now Deco and Laporta need to decide if that's enough to pay a 100m+ package for him for 5-6 years. And if yes, how to include it into the ffp.

Why is him being friends with Lamine an upside?

He's not friends just with Lamine but a great deal of our new generation

And it is a huge upside. Amigos as parasitic as they were at the end have achieved a lot together and their friendship was a huge part of it.

BBC at real Madrid achieved a lot too and they weren't that friendly.

I don't want to hate on him, but honestly I don't see what makes him so special. People want him because he's friends with yamal and his performance for Spain, rather than how good he is at club level. All he provides is a pair of fresh legs, nothing else. He isn't an upgrade on raphinha or yamal. I'm not even sure if he can play on the right wing in case yamal is unfit. Deco needs to be looking at other options rather than having tunnel vision for this guy

Napoli want Lookman

Conte sees him as the Kvara replacement and they’re ready to make a €50M offer.

Atalanta hope to get €60M.

Just get Nico. Somebody go to the Campo Noe Buffet and give the big guy the news.

Cole and Sheringham hated each other at Man United too, yet co-existed and won the treble (admittedly the latter was more of a sub).

There's plenty examples of team mates not getting on but playing well together on the park.

I haven't made my mind up on Williams. Not convinced, but his supporters in here make some good points sometimes.

Well Rapha could be the RW in case Lamine needs rest.
