He's a brilliant coach and has been for years. He must be feeling emotional thinking of his sadly departed daughter.

I tend to agree he has got better after Barca, but I still think he was great at Barca too. MSN got most of the credit for the treble if I recall but Enrique set the team up well most of the time to enable them to do the damage up front.

I can't be happy for him. He knowingly went to the project that helps to destroy football how we know it only because of money. His own and transfer money to have an easy life as a coach. Same as Pep. Both sold out football for their own ambition.
His tragic personal life has nothing to do with it. They choose to close their eyes to everything around and focus only on what's happening on the pitch. Same when Beckenbauer traveled to Qatar and said, he didn't see any people in handcuffs, so there weren't any slaves.
These people are a big reason as well, why football turns to shit after their American role model where sport is on third place after show business and money laundering. This is happening to football as well.

Yesterday the players had to wait 30 minutes after warm-up, so Linkin Park could perform for the show audience. Who cares that the injury risks rise for the players, their concentration before the game gets fucked up, if Taylor, Jessica and Ashley can dance to Linkin Park. Soon, we'll have 30 minutes half-time shows as well.

So fuck both, Pep and Enrique for supporting this. Treble heros or not.

Yeah all the human rights abuse issues in football (and especially in places like the Middle East) are very very shady.

It's the same with the last World Cup (same country as PSG's owners) - we all loved seeing Messi win it, but many people died and were treated like cattle to make that World Cup possible.

It's the way of the world though sadly, and humanity - step on and use people with less power than you. They're just more overt about it in the Middle East.

People love money.

Especially people who usually don't come from money, like most top footballers.

It's in the human and their psyche.

More news at 11.

16/17 was a disaster. Check how Qsg and Juve humiliated Barca back to back in UCL, how his transfers post 2014 all failed, how he used young players.

Yeah I am not a Barca fan as you know but it was a bad season for the club. It was the season of the 6-1 comeback but the defeat in the first leg to PSG signalled warning signs that were fully realised against Juve. Overall it was a bad season. Real Madrid did the double too.

But I still think he's a very good coach. He's not as good as Pep obviously but he has a lot of coaching ability. Are you not a fan? Haven't read most of the thread.

He was good before but now he has been much better. From good to elite level.

But is Barca DNA still outdated to you though?
PSG play nothing like Pep/Xavi teams who were supposed to represent Barca DNA.

If Pep had won CL again playing with four centerbacks, slow possession, no pacy wingers, and Haaland up front, that would be hailed as a victory for Barca DNA, yet Lucho doing it with fullbacks attacking like forwards at times, incisive attacking, tons of pace on the wings, and Dembele playing false 9 is supposed to be Barca DNA as well.
