More BS...
You don't need to know the exact position of every player at any moment in time in order to contain them.
Liverpool did it for 60+ minutes, Arsenal did it for as long, Villa did it at the Villa park

Veratti was better than Vitinha.
Vitinha plays quicker in short passes.
Can't paly long, can't play incisive through balls.
And can't dictate the tempo, if the game warrants to chase a score or do a comeback.
He is ideal in circumstances like tonight: when PSG has the lead, and wants to circulate the ball around without losing possession.
Hubris that some of you are comparing him to Xavi
If it was that simple, any half decent coach like Xavi would have executed the champagne Football and results Flick brings. It's direct, simple, hella fun to watch.
No on sits down and doesn't know how to score against flick, it's clear as day.
You know exactly where every single player will be for the full 90 minutes.
Counter pressing is nothing new, we've seen that for years.
It's simple, direct, brilliant football.
Now compare that to what Enrique is doing with his team.
So?Veratti is the GOAT but he could not run like Vitinha

Very few coaches can execute Flickball and get instant results consistently with it. It's anything but simple. If it was simple more people with coaching licence and badges would pull it off.
He’s american. After reading more of his posts, I firmly believe Jamrock is not older than 25.
Only a young-ish lad would argue so poorly about football
Ok, keep talking like a 15 yr old, and then expect people to take you seriously
What does a "ball control merchant" mean?

So?
Is it solely about running now?
There's a big difference between simple and direct.
Flickball is more direct, vertical and faster than Lucho.
Flick's wing play, the way he uses his CF and his midfield on the ball is very fascinating and fairly complex. The patterns of play are well defined and tend to be more progressive than PSG.
His pressing is also very well developed and intricate from top to bottom. The only thing that is fairly simple about Flickball is his counterpressing which is fairly straightforward and not as meticulously coached as Klopp's famous counterpress.
It's a ball retention and possession recycling attribute. I kinda agree there. Pedri would definitely suit Enrique's style.Well, you know when people say "speed merchant," they mean that speed is pretty much their game, and whether or not it's actually productive. Pedri excels at ball control and doing solo keep-away when being tightly marked. But, imo, it's not often a means to an end. Looks great, but isn't in itself productive. It's more of a defensive attribute.
