Positive Thinking Cules

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
Gavi will get two seasons to get back on track and show progress.

If it's looking bad by 2027 I think there will be some uncomfortable conversations to be had in the club.

Need to be ruthless with some other players though this year.

This is truly the best time to be part of the PTC movement. Barcelona is now 22 games unbeaten in 2025 and that’s the best record we did into a year since 2016. It is still unrealistic to expect us to win all the next potential 14 games, but we should believe that the team is very strong technically, physically and mentally. Which will allow them to capture at least 2 of the 3 trophies left.

We play as a unit recently and I like that. Even with underperforming donkeys, we're able to turn things around. The key players are Pedri and Lamine. Without them our whole system falls apart.

Also the Inaki - Cubarsi defence has been impressive this season, especially in CL.

We are winning everything to be won domestically.
We are not the clowns in CL anymore.
We are playing the best football.

We are yet to be back in Camp Nou.

Only Lewa, Ter Stegen and Inigo are starters who are older than 30, and we managed to do well when any of them missed.

Players would love to come and join the young core we have with Cubarsi, Balde, Pedri and above all, Yamal.

The turn around for the club in the last 4 years since laporta has been back, as truly been stunning.

Better days ahead, we just need a CL to cement everything.

2 good chances the last 2 seasons to make a final and we didn't, need to break that glass to be fully back.

With Laporta back Barca won 2 La Ligas in 4 years under some of the worst circumstances the club faced in it's post civil war history.

And as Khaled said future does look bright with new Camp Nou to host this exciting team made up of many home boys.

This season was like 2004/05 when we got Eto'o and Guily to compliment Ronaldinho's attacking force and won La Liga. In Europe we went out against Chelsea, beaten by Mourinho's invincible aura of the day.

But I don't mean this comparison on individual basis, but as a team - in 2004/05 the club finally found its identity and the formula to win games. Now I get the same vibe from Flick's Barca. Injuries got in our way of winning the treble, this one I'm sure of.

Fixed that for you

The Stamford Bridge game we were poor defensively. Despite Ronaldinho's magic. That cost us, Collina's mistakes are not news.
True though, I watched the first half and boy were we absolutely dismantled. I think we went 3-0 down within 20-30 something minutes, it was disastrous. Ronnie got us back by halftime with 2 goals within 6 minutes, what a legend. Too bad it all went in vain though.
