I'm not that optimistic tbh.

Usually teams lose steam in the second season after a great one, the team already suffered massively from complacency after beating the shit out of Madrid and Bayern in a span of just 4 days.

Not to mention squad depth and key reinforcements that are a must in order to hope for more next season.

Also injuries, refereeings, luck and opponents play a major role in later stages of CL so it will definitely be hard.
This is different

The season was great but one massive black dot forever remains. No UCL trophy

They will be hungry for it next season, they will go all out

Great season. Let's hope we make 3-4 good signings so we can take on our rivals who are all gonna improve their teams with their hundreds of millions.

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
Don Hansi ready to break the news to ter Stegen hopefully.

"We wanted to finish the season on a par with what we've been, with a win. Now it's time to rest, but tomorrow we'll be at the Ciutat Esportiva. We'll talk with the players, with Deco...”

I am wildly excited for the next season

I have zero doubts in this man. His intelligence and understanding of football are immense. He will fine-tune the system and we will be 10 times stronger

If he is, on top of that, supported by the board with good signings we will achieve some remarkable things

We need to keep playing attractive and we need to keep the same style and same philosophy. Only thing we need is more pragmatism when it comes to closing out games, making sure Acerbi goal never ever happens again
Agreed, next season can’t come any sooner 😁😁😁

Yeah but they will still face many of the issues they faced this season in CL.

Some starters not being good enough, squad depth won't be miraculously solved in the summer, injuries may also occur in the most critical phase of CL just like this season, bad luck, strong opponents, refereeings, form, teams starting to understand and counter better Flick's approach, all can and usually play a big part in CL.

For the last time, here is what he has done.

- Won Supercopa.
- Won Copa del Rey.
- Won LaLiga.
- UCL semi finals and slight margins away from the final.
- 174 goals scored.
- Changed our mentality.
- More away points than home points for the first time in the club’s history.
- Took Raphinha to the next level.
- Lewandowski Renaissance.
- Torres redemption.
- Fixed Pedri.
- Reduced our injuries.

Thank you so much, Mr Hans-Dieter Flick.

More to come and this is just the beginning.
See you in 2025-26!

teams starting to understand and counter better Flick's approach
I think everybody already understands how to counter Flick's high line, there is not much to be figured out

It's not that hard. But what is really hard is to sustain the pressure once waves of attack begin. Most teams crumble

Now if he can make it harder for opponents to bypass the high line we will have a superteam, offensive force with some degree of defensive reliability (right now we have almost none, every counter attack is immediate goal danger)

If you guys doubt Barcelona in the UCL next season, Idk what to tell you.
We are going to do anything possible to lift the 6th next year, and you have to trust the Flick machine.
Vamos Flickmeister.

For me the biggest issue is lack of squad depth and I mean starter quality depth.

Had we faced Inter with a properly rested squad we would've had no trouble knocking them out for example.

The next season they will still fight hard for La Liga and maybe CdR too as they usually do, this approach, without sufficient squad depth quality is a killer factor in CL and it happened before, it's not the first season Barca pays for this.

Opponents might also start to defend better against Flick's system.

CL is very luck depedent, sadly.

Guys, just imagine Barca drew PSG in the first KO stage this year, we might have been out before it even begun.

Also, there is no guarantee had we got into the final we would've been able to beat PSG considering how impressive they looked vs. LFC for instance.

CL is very complicated to win, we all know this.

Well yes this is definitely true which is why we need to hope for a great transfer window and support from Deco

Hard to do that without a physical presence in midfield and without a top class CB.
