Need to force Lewan Tractor out.

Raphina, Torres, Fermin Rotating strikers.

Torres and Fermin rotating LW.

Raphina has not been effective on the LW especially against buses.

Many people tend to remember only the recent past of around 1-2 months. That leads to overhyping players who were underwhelming over the entire season, or attacking players who had a good season overall.
Lewandowski showed over the entire season, that he's still good enough to be the starting striker. By the end of March, he had 38 goals 43 games. How many players in Europe had that goal per game quota this season?

Yes, starting in April his form fell rapidly, he only managed to score against Dortmund twice and in no other game since. Then his injury destroyed the rest of his form and here we are now, insulting him again who was after Salah the best scorer in Europe by the end of March.

He definitely has another good year in him, IF and that's a big IF, he manages to save himself for the crucial April/May months next season. I can't believe I'm saying this, but he should take an example of CR7 in his late Madrid years, where he disappeared the first half of the season, only to start scoring like a madman in the second half.

That's CR7's CL scorer in 16/17 season, Ronaldo was even 4-5 years younger than today's Lewy. Group stage 2 goals, 10 goals since quarters. In the league, he had 10 first half, 15 second half.

In summery, Lewandowski should stop chasing every goal in the first half of the season, save himself and his form for the crucial games. He showed he's still good enough when he's fit and rested, but due to his age, he obviously can't maintain this form over the entire season, his muscle injury a clear proof. He needs more pauses, Flick needs to play Ferran more and then I have no stomach ache going with him into a last season.

Because there is also another reason. We possibly can't buy a world class striker this summer anyways, so work with what we've got and try to do the best with it. I'm sure Flick understands this too and Ferran should definitely stay on the striker position next season, get way more minutes and stop rotating to the wing.

whoever negotiated the contract should ask themselves. Was it really necessary that +1 clause ? If so, was it really necessary for the extra year to be paid like prime Messi at such an old age ? They could have negotiated 3 years without that damaging clause !

There was never a +1 clause. He signed a 4-year contract (for FFP purposes lowering his yearly amortization costs; though those were not as problematic compared to his wages) but we could have gotten out of it if he wouldn't play enough in third season (this season) which was never gonna happen unless he'd get seriously injured.

Or we sell Ferran.
Use that money to get a proper young Striker. Rotate heavily first half of the season.
Then come March whoever is in a better form starts.

Atleast we will have some chance in UCL like this.
I see us not going past quaters let alone the Finals with Lewa and Ferran upfront.

Glory hunters just won't pass or even look for Lewandowski.

Yamal scores a goal for every 12.43 shots

In this game Yamal got 1 goal for like 6 shots.

Result: Barca lose

Surprised? No

Lewandowski scores a goal for every 3.36 shots he takes.

Yamal maybe the best thing ever.
Hell, Fermin maybe the best thing ever.

But right now, they have the IQ of a peanut and that Flick allows this to continue to put Yamal on a pedestal is even more troubling.
Compare a winger to a striker

Now can you compare their dribbling ability, their creativity on the pitch?

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
I find it ludicrous that we allow players to dictate to us. Lewa is not leaving so that means we can't sign a striker apparently.

A ruthless club calls him in and says the following

" Hi Rob, You've been great but no 37 year old can start as a striker for the biggest club in the world. We are signing a new striker and you are going to be 2nd or even 3rd choice next season. If that's not okay with you, let me know and we will work on a transfer together. ".

That's how a big club works. Clubs dictate to the players, not the other way around.

I'm sure if we told him the above, he would want to leave anyway. He ain't going to want to eat the bench in the final years of his career. The guy lives for his stats.

The only reason he is staying is because he knows they will still make him first choice striker next season.

I say no. Call his bluff.

Well if it was me I would have done this. Been saying this since last November.
But apparantly most forum folks and the board think otherwise.

We have two choices, either save money, dont get anyone, but lose the potential of generating millions through CL knockout stages. And we definetly will lose. Come 2026, we'll be again in rebuiling stage, Inigo out, Christensen older, Raphinha older.
Or get a striker who will give us that extra edge that Lewa and Ferran lacks, and recoup the money by winning CL knockout stages. And also Shirt sales and hype (if its Gyokeres). XD

He might want to leave just because he knows he's 37 and the only thing left to win with us is the CL, which is always a bit of a coin flip.

3 years
2 league titles
38 GC per season

You've proved your biggest doubts wrong, it's been a great 3 years, maybe it's time for me to move on, which was always kind of the plan, then roque happened.

But I'm not getting my hopes up, I'll believe it when I see it.

If the last year is a club option, then maybe there is hope.

Yeah exactly. I think he will go till the end and it won't be pretty end.

I just don't see us winning the CL with Torres and Lewy.
