A week ago, an acquaintance from another forum wrote this "conclusion." Funny how García conceded a goal in the bottom right corner again — this time from Fermín.

Garcia also has a decent long pass and does well in the air, including catching high shots on target. However, he struggles with low 'corners' — his diving isn't top-level — especially to his right side, where he often gets exposed, judging by his goal concession map. In general, he tends to concede goals to his right: penalties, free kicks, and even from corners.

Don't think MATS/Tek are an obstacle he can't overcome. Starting spot would be his before christmas if he keeps up this seasons performances and learns how to sweep.
The biggest shitbomb in this is the fact MATS wears the captain armband. The initial idea of signing Tek was to cover for Pena, as MATS was done for the season. Nobody expected Wojcech to turn out this good and the consequence - I expect Pena to leave the club.

Barca have two GK who will fight for the spot next season. As Joan said, signing Garcia makes sense only if Wojcech retires. There's no viable scenario two good GKs fuck up colossally to give opportunity to the 3rd GK.

He's hugging Barca players, because they know each other from Spain youth national squads.

Tek was signed to be a starter here, there is no way he was signed to be cover.

One of the reasons he retired, by his own admission, was because he didn't want to be backup GK or go to lower league like Saudi. Barca was an opportunity of a sure starting spot in a big club.

Inaki will leave because he now sees how the club really rates him.

Now, Tek has a decision to maje, because he probably loves it here and it seems his family is adapting well.

However, he will likely lose his starting spot, and back to the exact position that made him retire.

His decision will be important in our transfer plans, because we will absolutely go for a GK if he retires, there is no other option unless we are actually idiots.

He stays, no one is joining, resources go to other positions.

Whatever the motivation to join Barca, Tek is hardly retiring after such strong season.

He could also decide to retire on a high. Money is obviously not the only driver in his case.

Coming here, starting for Barca, and winning trophies is an exhilarating experience. Training every day to warm the bench while you could be golfing in Marbella with family is another thing.

Not saying he retires, but I can totally see it.

Edit: not to mention he’d have to watch ter Stegen play. I’m not a GK and even I have a hard time watching him butcher that sacred profession.

If Woj does retire. 20m for Joan is a no brainier.

You see the clubs in for him. Villa, Arse (why?), Chelsea (lol), United (also lol) and it speaks of his level.

There is no difference with us having:
The Terrorist & Tek in the team,
or Terrorist & Garcia/ any other keeper, in the team.

Virtually no difference, we are going to be humiliated in the CL either way.

Seems Dibu has given his notice to leave. Big Saudi offer I suspect.

@Joan to Villa seems the move as we will be too loyal to Stegs and Woj to move right away.

Madrid trying to stir it up, but didn't realize @Joan is a big Barca fan despite playing for Asspaniels.

He has a €25million (£21m / $27m) release clause in his contract and that drops to just €15million (£12.6m / $16m) if Espanyol get relegated.

Also goes up to 30m if they don't and he's called up to the National Team in June
