I think they are done as a club for a long time to come.

The two main trophies for 'elite clubs' are the domestic league and the CL. They haven't won either for twelve years and that looks like going on a lot longer.

Unless there's a collapse by the numerous teams above them they will struggle. They will have more money if they win the CL, but their reckless spending has caught up with them, and if they do get more money they'll likely spend it on more poor players like Ugarte and Dorgu. INEOS seem totally clueless, as I supsected they would be from the start.

Their fans are constantly talking about rebuilds and transitions, which they ironically seem to be permanently in. You can only turn over a squad fairly gradually - they need wholesale changes and Amorim isn't gonna get the time or resources to do it.

The sooner the fans accept the best they can hope for is fourth/fifth in the league and a CL last 16 or QF place (and even that is a lot to ask for), the happier they will be. They still think they deserve to be currently better than teams like Brighton and Brentford and have better players than those because they're a much bigger club - football doesn't work that way.

They just need to accept that mid-table/upper mid-table or CL places i.e 4th to 10th is their new normal now, and their max level. I don't think they will ever be relegated, but they can finish anywhere from 4th to 15th in future seasons, depending on many factors.

It's bizarre seeing their insecure fans in recent years saying they've done better than Arsenal by virtue of winning cup competitions. The league is a better barometer of you as a team, and the only reason they're in the EL is because they weren't good enough to qualify for the CL via league position (unlike Arsenal).

Trophies are great but a CL semi shows much more progress than a EL trophy win.

Only reason I heard Goldbridge was youtube autoplay. Dude's a dolt with 2M followers.
Why do you watch Rants? Never got the appeal. What is so good about his channel? The likes of Rory Jennings, Flex and Buvey are so much more entertaining.

His brother Expressions is very entertaining too.

True and beyond belief what Hamorim has done relentlessly to United.

I realized Bruno released the bit about his manager Rants mentioned in the match review because he knows he needs to leave too. Imagine being forced to play around Hol and Garno all season, dunno how anyone could keep sanity. Interesting he put it public before the final too.
