I don't know why everyone just trolls and hates in this topic. Anyone who knows at least a bit about football knows it doesn’t work like this: that you can just put a striker who scores goals in an average team into a good team and expect him to suddenly score even more. Many times, it’s been the case that strikers actually score significantly less when playing in a stronger team because:

- they have to share shooting opportunities with many other good players

- the team plays more positional attacks, whereas strikers in average teams usually score a lot from counterattacks

- such strikers often have 2–3 seasons in their career with 15+ goals and then lose form

- they can’t handle the pressure in a big club


Many clubs have already learned this the hard way.
