Yamal certainly stepped up the most in the final stretches of the season. But we will see what Dembele does vs Inter. No clear cut winner this year (or last).

It is clear cut for me. Save for a Dembele masterclass final, it's Lamine Yamal. Kid is probably going to light it up again in Nations League semis vs the Frenchies.

No other player in the world can take 2-3 opponents, drop them, and score a worldie like Yamal does. Didn't think he'd do it this yearly, but he reached best player in the world level already. It's easier for him also considering that there is a void of such players around.

He had to prove it vs the best sides to reach this level, and he did despite the very young age. Dortmund, Atletico, Inter, Madrid, Benfica... these are all top 10-15 sides, some even top 8.

Don’t think that’s a given.

I think Balde struggles a bit when speaking.
Heard him switch to using the Spanish words at times.

you gotta be kidding me

did you think Xavi struggles with Catalan too when he switched between them in interviews

hope skin color wasn't your subconscious basis for assuming

Fabio Capello: "The Balon D' Or? My vote is on Lamine Yamal."
He did say this but also claimed the kid couldn’t be considered a genius like Leo or Maradona - a bit of an odd conclusion to draw considering neither were doing what Lamine is doing at same age

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
If Inter win the UCL, then one of our boys will win the Ballon . Either Raph or Lamine.

I mean who are they going to give it to from Inter . Fucking Acerbi or Mickey Mkhitarian. Come on.

The tears on the internet are going to be delicious when Lamine or Raph picks it up. Vini might spontaneously combust.
