Yeah but his arm wasn't "slightly wide". It was completely tucked. That's why the refs needed so long to make up their minds. For me that's fine.

Far more shady to not show a single replay of their first goal and whether it was offside. I still don't know if it was or not.

The ball passes the body and is only stopped from hitting the goal from the arm. So some sort of unfair advantage has been achieved by the defender.

I get not giving penalties when arms are down as you encourage attackers to target the arm for easy pens.

So there needs to be a balance and logic to balls hitting arms, how and where.

About the first goal, I agree. I think the referee applied that inane rule where if the defender touches the ball it becomes second phase and the off side man, becomes onside. Another illogical rule as the only reason the defender tries to touch the ball is reacting off of the offside man in the first place.

France beat Spain 1-0 in the Nations League final a few years back through this rule. It even went to VAR. You can watch it on YouTube if you can't remember the goal. Completely illogical law. Especially in that case.

Selling Araujo for 50m and getting Tah on a free is a good start.

Sell Araujo to a team that has no top players, because if Barca sell this guy for 50m to a team, gonna burn our bridges with them. So, better be United or some other bottom table club from EPL.

What about Cuba penalty. Or Inigo slip.

I agree about two seasons in a row now against Inter.
Agree about that. I've been unhappy about the entire defense in general, but man, Araujo crushed our souls in the most decisive moments.

I still would somewhat forgive him but he doesn't take accountability for his role, and to me, that means he won't learn from it.

Agreed. I was on him about lack of accountability after last season's exit vs. PSG.
