You could have prime Lev Yashin in goal for that game and it wouldn't have made any difference. All Inter finishes were very good, even the penalty. Tek saved what was saveable.

But when you ship 7 vs that Inter and lots of goals vs other teams it's not a GK problem anymore.
Yk if we had Sommer or even Courtois for the 3rd goal. Maybe rn we would have been rejoicing that we are in Munich.

Flick already has a sextuple, multiple league titles and 2 cups this season for Barca.

If you want then you can hold on to these childish excuses for 2 more weeks but that won't change the clear difference in coaching ability.

Look at this forum. This forum worships Xavi as a player and Barca legend. But Flick's Football is so entertaining that the entire forum is excited for Barca games. Xavi's style of play wasn't good enough for Barca.

I'm referring to their time at Barca mate.

Barça needs a goalkeeper and this has been evident since at least 2019. Maybe even 2017.
Barcelona hasn't had a great shot stopper in Europe since a really really really long time, last great European performance by a Barça keeper was Valdes against Arsenal in Paris 2006. After that, he barely did anything and cost us the tie against Liverpool the following season.

I'd rather Flick proves himself at the highest level at Barcelona. Than both Xavi and Flick proving themselves more at other clubs.

Yamal alone puts this team a level above the previous ones.

Not necessarily.

Seeing Dembele under LE, and how Raphinha has been under Flick, have to question how he would have been under Flick 22/23.

Then you have guys like Kessie and Nico that year that would have known better how to utilize.

Nah, Xavimeister knows best. He had Dembele hug the line, Raphinha too. Insisted on DM with his Romeu pet and Christiansen next. : 🤡
Etc.

They probably get the title either way in 2020, but playing Lyon in the semis was insanely major luck. It happens once every 10 years or so. Don't remember Barca ever playing vs effectively an EL level team in the semifinals of the Champions League. It was always some tough opponent.

Villarreal and Dortmund have been semi finalists since then. Let's not act like Lyon is the exception.
