Not sure he is physical enough to be the best striker and over time probably be at best with another 9 and AM/SS type role.

If he was bigger and more physical Pep would probably have fancied him ahead of Haaland.

Brilliant pass.. but also he has about 4 goals in last 25 odd games for Argentina since World Cup I think it was said and Lautaro when fit is preferred as the CF.

He hasnt been the best striker in Spain this season let alone the world. Lewa and Mbappe been better.

It really surprsing that Pep prefers that League 2 level Haaland instead of this technical beast. It a part of his downfall, young Pep would never play with a player of such low techique.

Don't think paying a big fee for him would be a good move though. Alvarez is quality but someone like Isak is more suited to playing as a lone striker whereas Alvarez is probably best in a front 2.

Darwin could be good for Atletico. Could see him being poor man's version of what Costa was there.

Yup. Exactly this. I'd prefer Isak or Ekitike.

Coz that is exactly what smart clubs do. Big clubs mostly sell you players that are washed up or on a downward trajectory.

Porto, Roma, Benfica, Leipzig are exactly the kind of clubs you should buy players from.

That's why Edwards is the best ever at his job.
