Inter probably had more chances in 2nd half than first and looked more disorganised.
As shite as Gerard was dont think the defence improved in 2nd half.
Thats not blaming Araujo really as they all looked like had little shape and chaos of nearest man defend. Got away with a lot.

People forget he was one of the few players who didn't have a pre season with Flick.
Give him a full pre season learning this high line / offside trap. If he still underwhelms, then consider selling him.

He was crucial vs Dortmund the last few minutes. Especially first game.
Problem is though, after his injury he has slowed down and it hurts him a lot. He used to rely maybe too much on his physical qualities and now his weaknesses are super clear without those superior physical qualities. He just doesn't have that burst of speed/top speed what he used to have. Basically if his speed and quickness are gone he needs to change his game a bit.. in other words play smarter. Either way he should try to play smarter.

I think we can still put him RB. Run up and down with pace and defend right outside box so can’t gift penalty. He’s still good defending with back to goal and sliding tackles alongside pitch.

At this point, I don't care what we do with him. It's completely a crapshoot. He could have a good game or be the biggest clown on the field.
Wish we had someone like Van Dijk in defense. Then all of these discussions about our defense being shite would almost vanish. Fecking Bartomeu...

Sorry to ask this bro, did you actually watch the replay of that goal before typing this?
Did you see who lost Dumfries for the free header or you had this typed well ahed of the match?
Footage and analysis per ESPN Soccer TV this morning and match reports by Sportmole showed Olmo was marking Dumfries and lost him for the goal. The video footage also showed Olmo cursing for losing his target forbthe corner. How was Arsujo meant to mark all the players in the box because he is tall?
I like Araujo as a player but dont shy away from rapping him out when he messes up. In this case, he was not at fault for the goal. You can look for any other area where he did not domwell but for that goal, naah!!
