8 - Pedri

Point is, Pedri for BD needs to take a pause. yamal and raphinha brought us back by scoring 2 golazos.

BdO these days is kinda shit anyway.
Lamine passes the eye test, but the stats aren't up there with the best. Raphinha has the stats, but has been very frustrating with his play even though the end product is there.

FDJ did more on ball than Pedri to get it forward and fed Yamal more.

Basically opposite of what you claimed.
Creating threat is not = passing to Lamine more, for one. On the ball Frenkie barely took any initiative at all. 'Do more on the ball' means what to you because ambiguous statements like that do nothing. I for one expect Frenkie to pass to Yamal more, they play on the same side.

Its factually correct he was nowhere near Yamal and didnt score.

Don't care about technicalities like that. Made 2 goals out of 3 if you care to put it like that.

Pedri disappointed by comparison. Our best players this season are Yamal and raphinha. Yamal is playing his best football, but 2nd leg is gonna decide it.

He literally had the most key passes and most balls into the final third of anyone on the pitch.

Constantly moved ball forward.

Much better than Pedri tonight.

He had more key passes but created less xA than Pedri so what does that say?(both stats however are flawed). As for constantly moving the ball foward, I actually applaud him for that, but so did Pedri.

Pedri wasnt bad.. he just wasnt as good as FDJ. Best two midfielders on the park.

Superb today, saying he was bad is just baffling, compared to any other midfielder in the word he was nearly 5/5 today. Compared to his own highs this season he was 3/5. Saying he was bad is implying you don't know football or you have been too spoiled by his highest performances, or....you have an agenda

Who said he was bad?

Do they see the space he's taking up and the passes he's making under pressure unlike our other midfielders.

Also actually taking risky passes.

If he turns over the ball, it's because he's actually being proactive, I'll take that every day of the week compared to the opposite.

Just rest him over the weekend

He wasnt bad but he wasnt great either and not sure where this idea comes from he was making risky passes tonight.

Didnt have many.

On the 2-0 goal he was awful and shat it.

Doesnt get mentioned..but if others did that would be all folk spoke about.

Eh what , the goal where dumfries almost took his head of? Wtf should he had done? buried his head in his foot? Is that really the situation you are refering to?
Regarding risky passes, he had the most key passes out there in the first half,. You clearly have an agenda with your favoritism of De Jong (wich btw played his best match this season despite an error) that you downplay Pedri, its not the first time and will not be the last.
