We have been pretty spared by big injuries this season tbf. With a short squad it has been key to our run so far.

Barca have had plenty injuries to deal with this season.

MATS, Araujo, Christensen, Bernal, Balde, FDJ, Gavi, Olmo all been out some barely played.

League would have been long wrapped up by now otherwise.

What i disliked the most about this game is that the team seemed to be on low morale from the get go or quickly got to that state after first 10 or so minutes. It reminds me of some vidya games, where morale checks are constant thing. It's like our guys were in "wavering" mode asap. Things seemed to go awry in every single detail, like when you have bad hangover and things fall out of your hands for no reason at all. I hope it was just accumulated tiredness and being sort of burning out after so many key matches in short span of time. Obviously, there were also some more objective factors like Araujo being shit against aggressive teams, Balde probably being much better against this sort of team, Pedri being rested, which cause mid to be disorganized as fuck and no control, front line being in worse form of the season, but still. The morale seemed low from the start and it gave me vibes of Rome/Anfield. Good that it was 4:0 and not 3:0.
Hope this also gave huge xp boost to our very young squad that hasn't used to win silverware. It surely must. Now git and smash!
