Its because of the trolls. We rarely get real posts here because everyone tries to balance the dick riding trolls... Then you dont get anything in the middle its either overly criticizing or overly positive
How come your post is so trollish then?
I have not seen you on here with your balanced criticism at the beginning of the season when Lewandowski was the best player in the World, destroying Bayern and RM and leading the pack in other matches.
Look in the mirror, you'll see a perfect troll example, coming to Lewandowski thread when things might be not too good and like other trolls spewing your bitching and moaning.

Goodbye and thank you for all the goals

Never thought I'd say this but I don't want to see him in the lineup next to this Ferran Torres

This is a meritocratic system, apparently

You're babbling like children... can't you see how open Valencia is playing, no team has played such open football against Barcelona. With or without Lewy, with such a leaky defense, this team MUST concede 5-6 goals. In this match as well as the previous one. He should have been let loose on Real, Bayern or teams that park the bus.

Look
Lewa: Can't control a ball, can't finish, can't run, can't press
Ferran: Can't control a ball, can finish, can run, can press
What exactly makes you pick Lewy? We won every single game without him by 4,5,6 goals and played wonderful football.

I also think he should start in the big games but should leave these games to Ferran

Look:

1. Lewandowski on the pitch is already the fear of the opposing team's defenders, thanks to this others have more space. Note that when Lewy is on the pitch others have more shots, Lewy has 1, 2 max. 3. Lewy is notoriously fouled and 50% of fouls are ignored.

2. Better header.

3. Better execution of penalties, which has saved Barcelona many times.

4. Experience.

5. Shots from difficult positions - show me Ferran's goals that had a 1-2% chance of success?

6. Key moves.

I'm not saying that Ferran is playing badly today, because today he is very effective. But we can't say what could have been, because as I mentioned Lewy hasn't played with such a leaky defense this season.

Yeah I give you pens

The talk about defenders fearing him is bullshit though. 1 goal in 8 league games doesn't instill fear to nobody.

Tru but unfortunately:

If he does not reach a certain percentage of matches between now and the end of the season, it will be Barça who can unilaterally terminate his contract.

"The two parties agree that, in the event that the participation ("matches played") of the PLAYER during the third season (2024/25) is less than 55% of official matches, FC BARCELONA will have the right to terminate this employment contract early."

The text also specifies that a "match played" will be any match in which he is a starter or in which, without being a starter, he reaches 45 minutes.

The Polish striker has already played 31 of the 34 games played by the team this season, but Barça could end up playing a total of 51, which means that, for the moment, he has 50.8% of official matches, the only ones that are counted.

To exceed 55% and leave the club without any option of terminating his contract, he would have to play three more games. So things stand, Lewandowski can be much more relaxed than he was already because the striker is a regular for Flick and, in that sense, he had more than signed the fourth year of his contract.
Really painful….
