While I hope it's true that the club is just trying to protect him after the international break, it could get very ugly if that's not really the case.

We lost both games he didn't start this season, Osasuna and Sociedad. Against Osasuna he made immediate impact that almost brought us back to the game as soon as he came on. Against Monaco we lost too but 1 man down and he also scored a wonderful goal when we needed it.

So far he has proven to be a man to truly shine when his team needs him the most. Both here and in NT, where he totally changed the momentum in those semi finals with a golazo.

With him being out for 3 weeks, maybe 4.

The attack picks itself, the question is with Pedri moving up, who plays beside casado, but it damn well better not be de jong.

The away game at Celta will be difficult without him, they're 6th at the home table 4-1-2. Then we have 2 easy matches against Brest and Las Palmas at home.

Brest would be a tricky game away as they've been improving for a while now. But yeah, at home, it should be easier (even if at Olympic Stadium and not at Camp Nou).

This injury is one of the best things that could happen. He'll get almost a month rest which he needs because Flick doesn't rotate him. It's better for him to miss a month in november than a year because of some ACL or something because a 17 year old can't play every 3 days forever.

Nice the club finally did this with Yamal, Cubarsi and Lewa. I'm sure they have knocks but I'm also sure they would play if CL final would be tommorow.
